We first hung a rudimentary version of this box near our front door when we felt like our phones were commanding too much of our time.
Time that we could've spent involved in real communication with the people whose influence meant more to us than those we followed on social media.
The difference wasn't immediate, nor have we remained perfect in our efforts. But the box continues to serve as a reminder to check in, disconnect and focus on what matters most when we walk in the door.
